When roses are having a rest, it's an opportunity to focus our attention on some other flowers.
How about blue and white flowers?
I love blue and white and pink flowers. They are very good colours together.
My pink ruffled lavender is flowering as well.
They are oh-so-pretty!Just when I thought I have absolutely no more roses, to my surprise and delight, the rosebuds I collected in a vase from pruning last week started to bloom over the weekend. So the focus was on them again. Delightful!!!! Well, wish you all a delightful week!
Absolutely gorgeous....as usual! I never get tired of seeing your flower pictures.
Question for ya - when I picked my roses, they only lasted about a day or two in a vase (I used floral food). Do you do anything special when you cut your roses? How long do they usually last??
Wow, Rosy - your flowers are more than delightful! They just take my breath away!!! I love your lavender. They have such a dainty shape to them.
Yeah, I do have quite a few projects going on at the same time, hahaha. I think that's the multi-tasker in me, and the different projects keep me from getting too bored with one. Unless I have a deadline of some sort, I like to work on different things at a time. :)
It's great to hear from you. I hope you have a delightfully beautiful week!
Your flowers are so beautiful and artfully displayed! You are so blessed to have such a prolific garden. Thanks so much for sharing. Blessings, Victoria Lynn
Isn't it fun "painting"with flowers and you are such a good "painter". The colour combinations look so pretty. Especially surrounded by white pretties. It is such a treat when the rose buds you bring inside actually open. I must say that the cake on the last post looks absolutely delicious so I think I will have to give it a go. A great week to you Rosy, Angela.
Hahaha... yes, that "thing" is supposed to be a platypus. Since I have never seen a real platypus, I don't know how accurate that plush rendition is. Any idea? :)
Thanks for your sweet comment on those Dutch salt-and-pepper kids!:) I thought whoever made it did a great job in capturing their facial expressions!
Oh, no, I didn't think you were ignorant at all on my thingymagig... hahaha! I guess the unusual colors were used solely for looks like you know the pastel colors bunnies one finds during Easter. :)
You DO know how to make lovely flower arrangements; regardless of the type of flowers.... I have to say, thus, that nothing can surpass your roses in beauty... those orangie color roses are so lovely, I can touch them and smell their scents with the mind's eye...
