I started with the idea to take pictures which represent new life, in line with the Easter theme. Apart from roses, these beautiful soft blue and white speckled sugar-coated choc eggs would do the trick! The bird's nest is a real McCoy which my mother-in-law saved for my children when they were little. She reassured me it was a forsaken nest. It was so beautifully made I couldn't get myself to throw it out. In the end, I also borrowed my son's big vintage skeleton key and some of his ship models from his bedroom just to play around a bit, which had nothing to do with what I set out to do originally. You can see I did get carried away with the camera.................... hope you don't mind!
