Every time I think of Easter, I'm filled with gratefulness-- grateful for the hope, life and purpose Jesus gives through His resurrection. The sacrificial love that He showed has changed my life completely and I'm so thankful to have a relationship with my Father in heaven. I started with the idea to take pictures which represent new life, in line with the Easter theme. Apart from roses, these beautiful soft blue and white speckled sugar-coated choc eggs would do the trick! The bird's nest is a real McCoy which my mother-in-law saved for my children when they were little. She reassured me it was a forsaken nest. It was so beautifully made I couldn't get myself to throw it out. In the end, I also borrowed my son's big vintage skeleton key and some of his ship models from his bedroom just to play around a bit, which had nothing to do with what I set out to do originally. You can see I did get carried away with the camera.................... hope you don't mind!Have a wonderful Easter everyone, and make sure you don't eat too much chocolate. Lol!
Yes and Amen! It is such a joy to share our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and celebrate His Love for us! Your pictures are beautiful, and love the eggs with the birds and nest. I have to confess, I probably would have eaten the eggs, but nevertheless, they are charming in your pictures. blessings, carrell
Gorgeous! Love the roses. What is the name of the pink rose in your last week post, please. I have to have that one! Have a beautiful Easter & I hope you will join my blog. TTFN ~ Marydon
