Change Again

Before
Remember this corner of our house? I talked about it in a previous post here. These are the walls I was painting! The reason I decided to paint them this colour called "Cream Stone" is I felt that the red was so strong and dark that roses and floral arrangements tended to look lost when photographed in front of them. I'm really happy with how they turned out, I think I still like softer colours deep down. The red was striking, but I prefer the soft cream now, it's much more soothing.

Paint always makes a big difference, doesn't it. Your's looks really nice.

Tell me about the "cups" in your last pic. I know they are not china, are they cards? Or painted ones? Very pretty and unique.

Hi Rosy,

I like both looks, but the decorative accessories do seem to "pop" more with the cream color walls! Love those teacup thingies...

Red is one of my favorite colors, but I just don't want it on my walls. I think it would be overwhelming to my senses! But I love adding red to the decorating. I like your redo.

Please tell us about the cups in your last photo. Did you paint them? Are they cards? Just love them and the way you have them displayed. Kay
