Happy Valentine's Day

No doubt I really enjoy creating vignettes with my roses and taking pictures of them.
During our kids' school holidays,
I didn't have the luxury and the time to do all these,
so I've been hanging out to do it again.
This time I manipulated (edited) some of the photos just for fun,
they look so much dreamier and more romantic with their colours all washed-out, don't you think?
Roses to brighten up the home, here?Here?...........
Or here?...................

And last but not least,
I also took these photos below to wish you a Happy Valentine's Day.
These popsticks have the names of songs written on them,
they are my children's playlist of songs they have learnt on the piano.
They draw out some sticks each day like a lucky dip and play those songs for practice so they won't forget them.
I just think they look good for my photos!
The little white sachet with the pink heart on is my daughter's handiwork,
she made it for me when she was learning to use the sewing machine;
as well as hand-stitching some parts.
It's a sweet little thing that has become a decoration in my home,
and one I'll keep forever.
Alrighty, I wish you the most beautiful and blissful Valentine's Day, my dear friends,
till next time!

How did you fade out the photos? what edit do you use?
gorgeous. pics. And for some reason the titleof your blog on them really adds to the look.

Also ; ) I think you make each bouquet do triple duty. If you grow them, what are they?

I love the roses both ways but they do have a dreamy effect faded.

Sigh, I just can't seem to wrap my brain around the idea that anyone has such lovely roses in their garden all the time. I would begiddy-intoxicated by their appearance and especially their scent, all the time. I continue to be so grateful to have this blog to lose myself in.
Happy Valentine's Day to you.

For those who are interested in fading out the photos:
I simply reduced the 'Saturation'by going to the HSL icon on the photo editting programme which came with my camera. I don't know if everyone will have those, you might need to play around or trial and error a bit with the photo editting programme you have in order to find out.
