Precious roses to cherish and shades of white

Hi, girls, Did you have a good weekend? I have been so busy that I haven't had time for roses lately. These are the last of the last roses before all my rose bushes get chopped to bare branches. Their scent is not diminished at all, even though the size of the blooms are smaller than usual. I'm happy just to have them though, since we're right in the middle of winter. The pink ones are Heritage (David Austin) and the mauve ones are Perfumed Perfection (Floribunda)I've finally finished painting our buffet, it looks great in all its white glory. I think it needs distressing though, it's perfectly white at the moment. I love different shades of white together to create a calm and serene atmosphere in the home. How about you?

How lucky you are to still have a few roses. Mine are now 'twigs'.
Love the makeover on your buffet and the white on white looks fabulous

I think I have seen the last of my roses for the summer....once in a while a new bud will show up but that is it. I love your buffet painted white! Beautiful!

So lovely, To me it seems odd to think of winter this time of the year. Nice work with the white buffet. Your photographs are amazing as always.

How superb to still have some gorgeous blooms. In southern NSW mine are now all twigs !! All your postings are such a help when choosing roses to plant. May i ask what the pale pink David Austin roses in the white vase in your sidebar "English roses they are my favourites" are called?

Great pictures, Rosy. All the different whites blend well together - the look is so YOU! ;)

To Felicity Anderson,
That pink English Rose is called St. Cecilia, very good rose to grow, highly recommended. In fact I talked about her in one of the old posts.
