When Burlap Meets Roses

On a hot day, I like to cut some of the roses' blooms and bring them inside to enjoy, I figure it's better than them getting dried up out in the sun. However, before I brought these blooms in, I set them up for a little photo session outside, and these are some of the pictures for you my dear friends. I love the way the texture of the burlap shows in pictures, I think burlap looks great together with roses.I hope you are enjoying your week, I want to thank you lovely ladies who sent me very encouraging e-mails recently, I will reply to your requests and questions as soon as I can, you ladies are a wonderful bunch. I love hearing from you, thank you so much.  Roses used here are Jude the Obscure (yellow, peachy, David Austin), Jubilee Celebration (pink, David Austin) and Radio Times (pink, David Austin)

I just can't believe you have that many roses all at once! I just planted 3 DA roses, just in time to winter them over (Northern Hemisphere), and see what becomes of them next summer. I've never had more than a few rose blooms at a time. The sheer abundance of fragrant DA blooms must be intoxicating!

You must love Austins too. Radio Times is in full bloom at Kainga. I have 5 in a row in one part of the garden.
Have a wonderful weekend.

Rosy, I just love coming here and seeing your luscious roses. They are so beautiful and a lovely sight for we Canadians this time of year. Beautiful colours, and I imagine the scent is heavenly too.

Blessings,
Sandi
