Old photos and "New" Picture Frames

I dug out some of the old photos I took in my earliest days (only 3-4 years ago) of possessing a digital camera, before I ventured into the world of blogging. Some of them show wall, furniture and furnishing colours different to what they are now. It's fun to look back and see the difference, which I've almost forgotten. I don't even have that camera anymore, the only thing that was the same was roses were my subjects from the beginning, lol. These are old picture frames painted and repurposed as chalkboards. Simply paint chalkboard paint on the inserts and group them together for that look. Can you see what theme we have going here for one of the kids' bedroom?

Roses are beautiful! I've been wanting to do a framed chalkboard for my kitchen or pantry area. Always handy to have around.

Just beautiful, clever idea with the chalkboards. I have one in the kitchen which I bought at a garage sale, it gets used all the time. You have an artist in the making or maybe he is secretly planning his summer holiday. Happy days.

such pretty pretty roses. I love the chalkboards. I think I will make some shabby ones. Ours is a huge green one with a metal frame, leftover from our homeschooling days.

Thank you so much for coming to visit my blog...especially when it has lead me to yours, what beautiful photos you have. Could you please tell me what the rose in the 7th photo is called, it is absolutely stunning.
You asked about the paint colour in my main bedroom, it is called Woolooware by Taubmans (and is a little darker in real life than those photos).x
