Autumn Garden Pictures and More
Here are some more pictures of my garden at the moment, which I promised in the last post.
Just after I'd said how fantastic the weather was the other day, it started to rain a little the next day; however, it was very much welcome, we needed some rain anyway. It also made the garden look much calmer, I love sitting inside looking out at the garden through the windows of our living room on rainy days.I read that "Yellow acts as commas in a garden", yeah, I agree. Now, if I could only remember where I read it so I could give the author credit. Does anybody know?
These St.Cecilia blooms were like "perfume bombs", it was really good to have them inside the house and every time I walked by them, I smiled and inhaled as much as I could. Ahhh! Perfect scent!
A big thank you to all of you lovely ladies who love roses as much as I do, your comments have been so heart-warming and I'm always amazed you haven't got sick of looking at my garden yet. Roses truly are the Queen of all Flowers, their beauty is simply breathtaking, undoubtedly.
Have yourselves a wonderful week, won't you? Don't get stressed out.

Black Swans
Hi, people, hope you're having a good break over the Easter holidays.
Something different and not rose-related today. A swan, a black swan.I took these pictures in October last year and thought nothing much about them afterwards, black swans are native here.Oh! Don't you love the formation they made? Good for beautiful composition. Mum and dad with three kids, the darker ones are adults and the grey ones are kiddos, or teenagers?? All swimming in one direction. Good obedient teenagers, if you ask me.

Thankful for Easter
Every time I think of Easter, I'm filled with gratefulness-- grateful for the hope, life and purpose Jesus gives through His resurrection. The sacrificial love that He showed has changed my life completely and I'm so thankful to have a relationship with my Father in heaven. I started with the idea to take pictures which represent new life, in line with the Easter theme. Apart from roses, these beautiful soft blue and white speckled sugar-coated choc eggs would do the trick! The bird's nest is a real McCoy which my mother-in-law saved for my children when they were little. She reassured me it was a forsaken nest. It was so beautifully made I couldn't get myself to throw it out. In the end, I also borrowed my son's big vintage skeleton key and some of his ship models from his bedroom just to play around a bit, which had nothing to do with what I set out to do originally. You can see I did get carried away with the camera.................... hope you don't mind!Have a wonderful Easter everyone, and make sure you don't eat too much chocolate. Lol!
